Schultz, Myrtle Caroline (Marriage - 12 Apr. 1944)
Myrtle Caroline Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schultz of Abbotsford, Wis., and Arthur Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Cole of Dorchester were united in marriage at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday, April 12th, at Medford. The bride was attended by Miss Carmen Schultz, her sister, as maid of honor, and Miss Beulah Jensen of Chicago, her cousin, and Miss Alvina Cole, sister of the groom, as bridesmaids. The groom was attended by James Buss, Wallace Schultz, brother of the bride, and Bud Hackel.
The bride was attired in a white brocaded satin frock with veil held in place with rhinestones and pearls. A string of pearls was worn as something old. Miss Carmen Schultz wore a blue taffeta dress, Miss Beulah Jensen a blue satin dress with net and Miss Alvina Cole a blue green taffeta dress. All three also wore headdresses of flowers. The groom and his attendants wore blue suits and carnation boutonnieres.
A wedding reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents and a wedding dance was given in the evening at Tianon.
About 50 guests were present. Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schultz of Merrill, grand parents of the groom, Miss Charoline Jensen of Chicago, Mr. Joe Morin and daughter and friend, Mr. Kippel and Arthur Cole of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. John Wescot, mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmelzer, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz, Miss Jene Arcett, Miss Joice Schore, Ben Krueger, Mr. and Mrs. Lenord Reilich and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Thede and family and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fischer and family of Colby, Mrs. Ted Morton of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Rarrol Freemund of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Cole and family, Louis Bauernfeind, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schultz and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jensen and son of Dorchester, Raymond Waldhart of Stetsonville, Miss Lucile Schultz of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kovacs, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pangie and Mrs. Matt Werner of Abbotsford, Wis.
